A message from the Head of School…
On Thursday we wished Mrs McQuade good luck for her adventure to Shanghai. We can’t wait to hear her stories about how mathematics is taught there and learn from
her experience. In assembly this week, we introduced the theme of resilience. Resilience is about helping our children to successfully manage life and to successfully
adapt to change. In simple-term ‘bounce-back ability’ to life experiences. The children were really eager to learn about how to build their own resilience. You can help
your child at home by:
1. Teaching your child to set goals and praise them for their steps towards their goals.
2. Helping your child to remember ways he/she has been successful.

Would you like your children to be helpful around the house over half term?
Look out for Smarties tubes and instructions coming home with your child next week.

Non uniform day – Fri 26 Oct
Next Friday, children are invited to wear their own clothes, in return for a bottle contribution for the Fair.
Please bring a full, new, unopened bottle of anything (wine, beer, squash, shampoo, washing up liquid) and it will be collected at the front gate.
