A message from the Head of School…
This week the children have been learning all about our school virtues: trust, kindness and self-belief. We believe the more the children live out the virtues, the better their relationships will be with others and they will allow and enable each child to flourish and be the best they and be.
Exciting news! Next week we have two teaching undergraduates from a university in Madrid coming to do a three month teaching placement at Haxby Road starting on Monday. The children are really excited about welcoming the students into our school and learning more about the culture of Spain. On Monday they will be performing Spanish songs to the students and showing them around our school. If you see them in the playground or around school please feel free to talk to them.

The Great Big Family Learning Survey 2018-2019
Family Learning have put out a survey online to find out what topics parent would like Family Learning to delivery.
Family Learning are asking for your help in coming up with new ways and ideas to help spread the word, work with you to support your children’s learning and provide time and space for you to ask questions about your learning. Family learning courses are ideal for parents, grandparents or carers, as well as anyone who wants to or is already volunteering or working in schools.
