Haxby Road Primary Academy follows the City of York Council co-ordinated admissions procedures for Reception entry and applying for an ‘in-year’ school place. Between 8 October and 7 December 2018 all admissions authorities for schools in York jointly conducted a consultation on admission arrangements for the admissions rounds for entry in September 2020.
This year’s admissions consultation is being jointly held by all admissions authorities in the City of York Council between 7th October 2019 and 29th November 2019. The consultation includes the admissions policies and number of places available at each school in the year of entry. The views of parent/carers, schools and other interested parties are being sought during this consultation. To respond, you can email admissionsconsultation@york.gov.uk.
Following consultation, each admissions authority will formally determine their admission arrangements for admission in 2021/22 by 28th February 2020. Determined policies will be on all admissions authorities own websites by 15th March 2020 after which objections can be raised.
