Inclusive sessions at Energy Trampoline Park for individuals with additional needs

On Tuesdays and Thursdays*, Energi Trampoline Park is transformed into a haven for youngsters with additional needs. We have designed two sessions in partnership with local charities, professionals and parents, to ensure your child’s needs are met.

For those with physical disabilities or syndromes our Tuesday sessions are the perfect way to enjoy the park, whilst we tinker with the environment on Thursday’s to cater for those on the autistic spectrum. Siblings are welcome to both sessions.

We have a ground floor seating area with table service and step free access into the park. Please note we do not have lift or ramp access to the trampolines or café.

• Friendly Tuesday: On Tuesdays at 5pm, young people from across York with physical disabilities and syndromes have exclusive use of Energi Trampoline Park to jump, flip, dive and play. The park remains a fun atmosphere with music and lights; for those sensitive to this environment, please see our Thursday session.
• Friendly Thursday: On Thursdays at 5.10pm** the music is turned off, the lights stop flashing, and the park becomes the perfect location for your young person to enjoy all we have to offer. We also have chill out rooms available throughout the sessions, the hand dryers in the toilets are switched off, and our staff are all awareness trained to support you and your child. The capacity is also reduced to create a more spacious and less busy park.
• Pricing: Energi Friendly sessions are just £5.95 per person; accompanying adults or carers go free. Everybody using the park must buy reusable Energi trampoline socks (£1.65). Spectators (no charge) are welcome in our café, selling the best hot drinks and cakes in the area, as well as a wide selection of food, and meal deals for the kids.
• Ages: These sessions are for ages 2 – 18.

*Times may vary in school holidays.
**To ensure the best possible experience, the Autism sessions run from 5.10pm – 5.50pm, to allow us to get the environment just right for you and your family.
